Jack Smith’s arm-twisting to join the emeritus board gave me a chance to reconnect with The Wharton Graduate School that I have loved for all these many years. I was a member of the Wharton Graduate Alumni Association when I returned to Philadelphia in the early ’60s and served as president for 2 years during the years when Wharton Graduate was the fledgling step-child of the overall Wharton School.
After 2 years at IBM, I worked for many years in the printing business for The Winchell Company ending up as president and why not? (My father-in-law was chairman). Currently I work in the insurance business for The Hirshorn company and am president of Newsgrade Corporation, an on-line news organization.
