A Week in Mongolia With the Lauder Institute

Lauder students learned about mining and cashmere production in Erdenet and Ulaanbaatar.

Lauder Intercultural Ventures — also known as LIVs — are a cornerstone of the Lauder Institute’s unique program, offering students the opportunity to explore both business and policy abroad. This year, Lauder returned to Mongolia for a deep dive into the local business landscape and a chance to meet with officials and entrepreneurs across the mining and cashmere industries. Powered by gifts from Lauder Institute donors, trips like these promote experiential, hands-on learning.
