As a graduate of the Fels Institute, which at the time was in the Wharton Graduate School, Myron devoted his career to the improvement of government and nonprofit organizational management. He is an Emeritus member of two graduate faculties at the University of Connecticut: Masters of Public Affairs and Masters of Social Work Administration. He has written several books, monographs and professional papers; his book on Human Services Management was one of the leading texts in the field. Together with his wife Ruth, he is a partner in Weiner Associates, management consultants for public and nonprofit organizations, which over the past three decades has had clients all over the United State and internationally.
Myron & Ruth live in Bloomfield, Connecticut. They have three children, one of whom graduated Penn in 1975 and five grandchildren, the oldest of whom graduated Penn in 2009.
