Question:
What is the Benjamin Franklin Society?
Answer:
The Benjamin Franklin Society (BFS) is the University of Pennsylvania’s leadership annual giving circle. The Wharton School recognizes donors who generously contribute $2,500 or more annually to The Wharton Fund. Recent Wharton graduates, up to four years after graduation, can join the Young Franklin Society with gifts of $1,000 or more.
Philanthropy at this level has shaped Wharton’s legacy since Joseph Wharton’s founding gift on June 22, 1881. To explore the lasting impact of leadership donors to The Wharton Fund — and how you can join — visit the Benjamin Franklin Society.
