The End of the Conglomerate?

Led by: Emilie Feldman, Michael L. Tarnopol Professor, Professor of Management, The Wharton School

This session will consider the potential for value creation—and value destruction—in complex, multi-business portfolios, as well as provide insights into which types of companies are being targeted by activist investors and what strategies managers can pursue to reduce market undervaluation.
