Ever wonder which professor reigns supreme among Wharton’s dynamic, brilliant faculty? Iron Prof, a spinoff of the popular TV series Iron Chef, is back with its seventh edition.
This high-energy game show challenges three professors to present an engaging, rapid-fire lecture to the audience. Afterwards, the crowd — made up of Wharton MBA students and fellow faculty — decides who will be crowned Iron Prof 2017.

This year’s star faculty competitors are:
- Michael Sinkinson, an Assistant Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy and uses the historic 2008 presidential election to make his case about advertising
- Sarah Light, an Assistant Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics, explains how futuristic tech companies such as Google, Lyft, and Uber will impact laws.
- Jules Van Bingsbergen, Nippon Life Professor of Finance. Bingsbergen explores what legendary basketball player Michael Jordan can teach us about mutual funds.
