Professor Sarah E. Light has achieved one of the three Presidential Professorships established by Dr. Mitchell J. Blutt, C’78, M’82, WG’87, and Mrs. Margo Blutt at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sarah E. Light’s “pathbreaking research and teaching” has earned her the Mitchell J. Blutt and Margo Krody Blutt Presidential Professorship, the University of Pennsylvania’s Interim President Larry J. Jameson and Wharton’s Dean Erika James announced last month.

Rising to her position as a full professor of legal studies and business ethics last year, Light has been a Wharton faculty member since 2013. Light’s research focuses on climate and environmental law and policy and private environmental governance.

Dr. Mitchell J. Blutt, C’78, M’82, WG’87, and Mrs. Margo Blutt have generously established Presidential Professorships at the three Penn schools Dr. Blutt attended: the Wharton School, Penn Arts and Sciences, and the Perelman School of Medicine.

This summer, high school students will participate in a new two week-long online learning opportunity: Wharton Global Youth Program’s Financial Decision Making.
